As foreigners, we were living in Mumbai. At September end we went back to France with our labrador.

 

We had to get the Animal Health Certificate from the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

 

We had to go twice to the Animal Quarantine Office and it turned quickly complicated with this department, untill we understand that we had to bribe them.

 

My driver discussed with the guard who explained : we had to pay Rs 100 to each employee plus Rs 500 to Dr Bhosale, the official Vet. He also asked Rs 100 for himself.

 

As we had no choice we asked our Agent to pay Rs 900 and we got immediately the certificate signed.

 

This is exactly what happened.

C'est cette corruption la, plus encore que la grande corruption que nous retronvons aussi dans nos pays, qui<br /> gangrene le pays et prend en otage la population.
